Terms of service.

Who you are contracting with

What you are buying
Digital audio files, delivered as downloads. A purchase grants you a licence to use them — it does not transfer ownership of the recordings. The scope of that licence is set out on the licences page, which forms part of these terms.
When the contract forms
When we confirm your order after payment succeeds. An item in your cart, or a checkout you started and did not finish, is not a contract.
Right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)
TODO — this section requires a code change, not only legal wording. As a consumer in the EU you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content that right lapses only if you expressly consent to us starting delivery immediately and acknowledge that doing so forfeits the right (§356 Abs. 5 BGB). That consent has to be obtained at checkout, with a recorded acknowledgement — a clause on this page does not obtain it. Until the checkout collects it, treat the full 14-day right as applying to every order.
Memberships
A membership renews until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves your current period intact; anything you claimed during a paid period stays in your library permanently. See the refund policy.
Your account
One account per person. You are responsible for the mailbox it is registered to — sign-in codes go there, so whoever controls that inbox can sign in. Do not share your downloads or your account.
Availability
We aim to keep the shop and your library available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. TODO — liability limitation, reviewed against §309 BGB, which restricts how far a consumer contract may limit liability.
Changes and governing law
TODO — how changes to these terms are communicated and when they take effect, plus governing law and jurisdiction (noting that a consumer cannot be deprived of the protections of their own country of residence).
